This game could be played with 7 players on the table, but the best results off playing this game comes through with 4 players on the table.

42 domino game rules ñ They are different!

For ease of understanding, let us take a look at the rules of a four-partnership game, which is quite often the most popular version of the 42 domino game. Every trick in this game is worth a point, and every domino whose pips sum up to a total of 5 have special values attached to them.

These special points are known as honors, and are often represented by the sequence as mentioned below

0-5 = 5 points
1-4 = 5 points
4-6 = 10 points
5-5 = 10 points
2-3 = 5 points

Put together, you would find that there are 7 tricks and 5 honors used in this game. Add them up and you would get a total of 42, which is the reason why this game is called 42 dominos game.

The player who has the 0-1 tile gets the opportunity to bid first. Basically, he is the person who is considered to have the lowest score. Already, you must get a feeling that this is different from other domino games.

The gameplay proceeds in this pattern with the highest bidder leading the board. It is the responsibility of the highest bidder to call out trumps, which in most cases, marks the close of this game.

Here is a game that is by nature a domino game, and yet, is played on a different note than most other domino games.
